Our business model is to provide an outsourced marketing service for New Zealand technology companies – particularly those aiming for global markets.


More than 20 years ago...


Our story began more than 20 years ago. Back then we were the first PR company to specialise in the burgeoning technology sector – representing the New Zealand business of major technology brands including SAP, Digital Equipment Corporation, Toshiba, Silicon Graphics, and Wang New Zealand (to name just a few).


…10 years later


Ten years ago we made the considered decision to change our business model, to focus on New Zealand owned and operated technology companies, where we could deal directly with the business owner(s) and work at a much more strategic and effective level than is possible at the end of the marketing chain of a major multinational corporation.


Our unique model


We set out to offer a full spectrum of marketing services including – but not limited to – traditional PR and media relations. We became expert in developing a technology brand from the ground up and taking that brand to market.

Instead of charging hourly rates, we moved to delivering a continuum of marketing services for an agreed monthly and annual budget.

Today we continue to evolve this service model, adding social media presence and lead generation, and the skills and resources to drive top Google rankings and highly measurable online and direct marketing lead generation campaigns. We assist our clients to raise capital, list on stock exchanges, produce annual reports. And we handle the routine of regular communications with customers and prospects.

Our unique model best fits the needs of small to medium-sized technology companies. Our clients range in size from a small number of early start-ups with a cash burn (where we typically have a small equity stake) to established brands ranging in size between five to 30 million dollars in annual revenue.

For an annual cost equivalent to a single full-time in-house appointment, we provide a much broader and deeper range of services. We leverage our own resources with a network of trusted suppliers in specialist areas, ensuring our clients get top quality work at a fair and affordable price.


Our point of difference


As our clients grow and internal marketing appointments make sense, we typically assist with internal hires and continue to provide services in support of the in-house team.

Although we prefer to work to an annual plan and budget, we do accept a limited amount of project work, usually on referral from an existing client. Our most high demand project area is in case study writing and production.

Our philosophy and key point of difference is a genuine commitment to delivering value over time. Our success in delivering value is evidenced by the life of our client relationships – frequently continuing beyond ten years.
